CORE Rules Certification/Endorsement
CAQH certifies and awards certification seals for four types of entities that create, transmit or use eligibility data: health plans, providers, vendors, and clearinghouses.
Organizations that do not create, transmit or use eligibility data are eligible to apply for the CORE Endorser Seal.
Commitment to CORE Operating Rules
Use of the CORE operating rules/policies is voluntary. To receive a CORE-certification Seal, organizations must sign a binding pledge to adopt, implement and comply with CORE rules. By signing the CORE Pledge, the organization commits to work with a CORE-authorized testing vendor to prove its product or IT system(s) are compliant with the CORE rules. Testing must be completed within 180 days of signing the CORE Pledge. CORE testing and certification is tailored for providers, health plans, vendors and clearinghouses.
