10 Takeaways from the Latest CAQH Index Report

The healthcare industry has made moderate progress in the adoption of electronic business transactions, but significant savings potential remains for healthcare providers and health plans, according to the 2017 CAQH Index released on June 14th. The fifth annual CAQH Index measures adoption, costs and provider labor time associated with the most common administrative transactions conducted between health plans and providers.

CAQH Earns HITRUST CSF Certification, Demonstrating Commitment to Information Security

CAQH has achieved Certified status for information security by the Health Information Trust (HITRUST) Alliance. The HITRUST certification validates that CAQH meets key healthcare regulations and requirements for protecting and securing sensitive private healthcare information. The certification applies to CAQH infrastructure, security and privacy programs and the entire portfolio of CAQH Solutions (CAQH ProView, DirectAssure, VeriFide, EnrollHub, SanctionsTrack and COB Smart).

Samuel Adae, Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Samuel is supporting CAQH Solutions and is initially focusing on CAQH ProView. He previously worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a senior consultant in Quality Assurance.


Babajide “Charles” Adepoju, Business Analyst

A new Business Analyst working on CAQH ProView, Charles joins CAQH after previously holding positions at GovernmentCIO, Sedetos Global Solutions and Vogo Technologies.


Ogunyemi Akinbobola, Business Analyst

A new member of the Business Analysis team, Ogunyemi works on CAQH ProView. Before joining CAQH, she worked at Livanta LLC, ResConnect, and WyseNet Solutions. She is currently in her final year of graduate school at University of Maryland University College, pursuing a degree in Health Administrative Informatics.


Kristine Burnaska, Director, Research and Measurement

Kristine leads the annual CAQH Index, collaborates with CAQH Solutions on research activities and guides thought leadership projects. She has over 15 years of experience focusing on quantitative and qualitative research. Prior to joining CAQH, Kristine led a healthcare price transparency initiative at the non-profit Health Care Cost Institute.


Vijay Kotha, Senior Business Analyst

Vijay is assigned to CAQH ProView as a new member of the Business Analysis team. His past experience includes work at Pearson, the New York City Department of Transportation and Chandler Macleod Group Limited.


Sravani Koduru, Scrum Master/Product Manager

Sravani joins CAQH as a Scrum Master and Product Manager for CAQH ProView. With over a decade of experience, Sravani has managed various IT projects for several government agencies.


Crystal Page, Manager, Conferences

As a member of the Marketing and Communications team, Crystal is responsible for managing both CAQH participation in industry conferences, as well as CAQH-hosted events. She has more than 20 years of event management experience, with more than 10 years in the healthcare industry.


Makeda Ricketts, Senior Product Analyst

Makeda has joined CAQH as a Senior Product Analyst. In this role, Makeda is helping coordinate activities for the COB Smart work group, implement parts of the 2018 Product Roadmap and oversee the COB Trading Partner program.


Christine Steiffer, Senior UX/UI Designer

Christine works with the product management team to optimize the user experience of CAQH ProView, DirectAssure and SanctionsTrack. Her work in UX includes completed projects for several federal agencies during her time at Octo Consulting and SalientCRGT.


April Todd, Senior Vice President, CAQH CORE and Explorations

The new head of the CAQH CORE and Explorations teams, April joins CAQH from Avalere – an Inovalon Company, where she led data, analytic, strategic and product development functions focused heavily on value-based care. Prior to joining Avalere, April established the MNsure state health insurance exchange and served as the Minnesota State Health Economist.
