Humana Joins CAQH and the National Effort to Streamline Healthcare Business Practices and Improve Provider Data
WASHINGTON, DC - 11/14/18–
CAQH®, an industry alliance working to transform the business of healthcare, today announced that Humana has joined the organization and will serve on the CAQH board of directors.
“We are thrilled that Humana is joining CAQH and will help lead the effort to improve healthcare business processes,” said Robin Thomashauer, President of CAQH. “Humana’s engagement will further advance our mission to make information sharing across the industry more accurate and efficient.”
CAQH is a collaboration of health plans, associations, and other stakeholders working together to streamline the business of healthcare. Advanced technology solutions created by CAQH -- CAQH ProView®, DirectAssure®, VeriFide™, SanctionsTrack®, EnrollHub® and COB Smart® -- enable nearly 1,000 health plans and more than 1.4 million healthcare providers to exchange information needed for provider directories, credentialing, claims processing, quality assurance and member services accurately, efficiently and securely. CAQH CORE participating organizations write operating rules that allow administrative information to be exchanged seamlessly between payers, providers, vendors and clearinghouses.
