Yuvi Kochar Named CAQH Managing Director, Technology and Operations
WASHINGTON, DC - 5/8/17–
Yuvi Kochar is the new Managing Director, Technology and Operations for CAQH, a non-profit alliance of health plans and trade associations that develops solutions to long-term business inefficiencies in healthcare. Kochar has held senior technology leadership positions across industries, including healthcare, media, education and insurance.
As Managing Director of Technology and Operations, Kochar will provide strategic leadership on the design and implementation of a comprehensive and evolving suite of solutions and services at CAQH. He will oversee the vision and direction of technology, as well as program management and business operations for all CAQH platforms. Kochar will play a key role in strategic planning and organizational development as a member of the organization’s leadership team.
“Yuvi brings a unique blend of cross-industry product development experience with entrepreneurship,” said Robin J. Thomashauer, CAQH Executive Director. “As CAQH expands its initiatives and solutions, his demonstrated ability to oversee technology through growth, and to expertly manage vendor relationships and teams, will be a great asset for us,” said Thomashauer.
Kochar has extensive experience in large-scale product development and infrastructure support. From his first position as a programmer, he evolved into leadership positions, including Chief Technology Officer with Brassring, the leading recruitment automation SAAS product used by a number of Global 1000 companies. He also spent more than 12 years as Chief Technology Officer with Graham Holdings (formerly the Washington Post Co.). Most recently he was a consultant on projects in home healthcare and cybersecurity.
