Sr. HR Coordinator
Position Description
The Sr. HR Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting a high-impact, people-centered HR function. This position supports recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement programs that strengthen connection, inclusion, and the overall employee experience. The Sr. HR Coordinator is detail-oriented, proactive, and energized by helping build efficient, people-focused processes that reflect CAQH’s culture and values.
The Sr. HR Coordinator partners closely with HR leadership and employees to deliver an efficient, positive, and consistent experience across the employee lifecycle.
This is a full-time, remote, exempt position and reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually.
Specific Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding (40%)
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, from job posting through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, structured interviews, and candidate scorecards.
- Post openings, source candidates, and coordinate interviews, ensuring an equitable and positive candidate experience.
- Prepare offer letters and support pre-employment and onboarding activities within the HRIS.
- Partner with HR leadership to enhance recruiting processes, reporting, and efficiency.
Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience (30%)
- Support initiatives that promote inclusion, connection, and recognition across a remote workforce.
- Coordinate employee engagement programs and events, including virtual and in-person celebrations.
- Partner with HR and the Culture Committee on initiatives that strengthen belonging and community.
- Assist with employee engagement survey administration, communications, and follow-up tracking.
- Maintain employee-facing HR communications, ensuring clarity and consistency of tone and content.
General HR Operations (30%)
- Maintain employee records and data within HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support benefits administration and documentation related to new hires, terminations, and changes.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and other administrative projects as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries and escalate issues to HR leadership as appropriate.
- Contribute to process improvements and help streamline HR workflows and templates.

Experience:
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in human resources or recruitment, with an interest in expanding into broader HR responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting culture or engagement programs in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of HR processes, employment documentation, or compliance basics.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
