Vice President, Sales
Position Description
The Vice President, Sales leads CAQH’s enterprise sales strategy, overseeing sales execution, go-to-market alignment, and operations in support of CAQH’s growth objectives. This role is accountable for building and scaling a high-performing sales organization that consistently drives new revenue, expands existing relationships, and positions CAQH solutions effectively across the healthcare ecosystem. Success in this role looks like predictable revenue growth, disciplined pipeline management, and a modern, data-driven sales engine that partners closely with Product, Marketing, Implementation and Customer Success.
This is a full-time, remote, exempt position and reports to the CCO.
Base Salary Range: $240,000 – $265,000 annually, plus commission.
Specific Responsibilities:

Lead and scale CAQH’s sales organization

Own and execute enterprise sales strategy to drive new business growth, market penetration, and expansion of CAQH solutions.

Establish clear sales discipline, performance expectations, and accountability frameworks tied to revenue goals.

Partner closely with Account Management, Product, Implementation and Marketing to align go-to-market strategy, messaging, and execution.

Actively support and close complex, strategic, and enterprise-level opportunities by demonstrating deep understanding of CAQH products, data assets, and client needs.

Oversee forecasting, pipeline health, pricing strategy, and incentive effectiveness, using data to continuously optimize performance.

Accountability for team’s adherence to CRM and revenue technology strategy - ensuring accurate reporting, efficient workflows, and strong adoption.

Stay current on SaaS, DaaS, and healthcare market trends and translate insights into actionable sales strategy.

Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and results-driven execution.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly and indirectly manage a multi-disciplinary team.

Provide leadership, coaching, and development for senior sales leaders and individual contributors.
Skills:

Proven executive leadership experience in enterprise sales and revenue growth.

Demonstrates a strong sense of curiosity - proactively exploring market trends, customer needs, and emerging data insights to continuously refine sales strategy and unlock new growth opportunities.

Deep expertise in consultative and solution-based selling.

Commands the room with clarity, influence, and credibility across diverse stakeholders.

Adapts quickly and decisively in fluid, high-velocity environments.
Experience:
-
12+ years of experience selling complex technology, data, or SaaS solutions, ideally within healthcare data management (PDM, provider front door, COB, credentialing & compliance, etc.).

7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience.

Must have demonstrated success selling into healthcare payers, providers, or adjacent markets.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

MBA or advanced degree preferred.
